Zeke is the brother-in-law of Terry Jeffords. He is disrespectful and demeaning to Terry and the NYPD.

Throughout the Series[]

Season One[]

In 48 Hours, Terry didn't want to go home because his brother-in-law Zeke was there and was constantly making fun of Terry such as calling him a weakling. Later, Terry was annoyed as Zeke wanted to take him to dinner before going to the airport. Later when Zeke came to collect Terry, Holt made up a police case for the sergeant to trick Zeke, barring Terry from having to go, leaving Zeke impressed at Terry's police work and being okay about going to the airport alone.

Season Two[]

In Lockdown, Holt and Terry have to do some work and they go to Terry's house despite Terry's reluctance due to Zeke's presence (who constantly mocks Terry). Zeke gets the mistaken impression that Holt is a mean boss and Zeke and Terry relate. Terry gets Holt to pretend to be mean so that he can continue being respected by Zeke.

Season Three[]

In Yippie Kayak, Zeke is staying with Terry for Christmas and he mocks Terry for not paying his full attention to his family and still being focused on his job. Terry has to leave for his job and Zeke mocks him. Terry gets fed up and yells at Zeke for mocking him despite being unemployed and tells Zeke to get a job.

Personality[]

He has a condescending and very disrespectful attitude, and even condescends the NYPD by claiming that all they do is sit around and wait for the criminals to turn themselves in.
