Akiva Daniel Schaffer is an American writer, director and actor in comedy films and television. He, along with Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, is a member of the comedy troupe The Lonely Island. He had starred alongside his fellow childhood friends and group members in Hot Rod and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.
He has served as a director for Brooklyn Nine-Nine in Season One and Season Five. In Season Five, he appeared in the episode Show Me Going.
